The main body of the church consists of two rows of benches either side of the building with aisles in the centre and next to the walls to the right and left.  On either side of the buidling the walls hold stations of the cross below large windows.

The Corinthian columns at the front of the church mark out where the sanctuary once stood when the church was first opened in 1828.  This area is now left open and the sanctuary is located further to the front of the church in what was originally the presbytery.

Doors to the right and left of the altar lead to the sacristy and baptistry respectively, but the latter is no longer used.  The font was replaced with a smaller "slimline" version in 1990 but at Easter 2001 Fr Nunan introduced a larger font which had been liberated from the old St Patrick's RC Church in Leeds.  The font stands in front of the entrance to the Sacristy to the front and right of the building.

Above the doors on either side of the Sanctuary stand the statues of St. Patrick and St. Joseph.

To the front of the church and to the left is the Lady Chapel which contains a remarkable painting dating from 1922 and restored in 1990.
